Calgary’s Spruce Meadows will be rolling out the red carpet this spring for an event that will have lots on offer for those interested in gems and rocks, as well as the general public.
The Calgary Rock N’ Gem show is the largest expo dedicated to rocks and minerals to take place in Canada, and all ages are welcome. It will combine learning with fun and a chance to engage in some retail therapy, and it is expected that there will be at least 400 tables to explore.
Those who come to the pop-up market will be able to purchase a wide selection of both rough and polished stones, and fossils will also be on offer. Both individual and family tickets are available, and their price starts at $2.00. The activity is being produced by Silver Cove, and a portion of the proceeds from the show will be donated to its charity of choice.
There may still be spots available for additional local small businesses to set up a table during the event. Business card printing and other services for a special occasion of this kind can be sourced from a professional printer.
