This spring, residents of Calgary will be able to support the city’s community of artists and purchase some unique pieces of art, jewellery and clothing at a weekend pop-up market.
The two-day sale will feature works of art crafted in the community, and as different artists will be taking part each day, the public will want to be sure they attend both. The event is being organized by Beacon Original Art, and both admission and parking will be free for attendees.
Those who come out can expect to find plenty of choices to pique their interest, and jewellery, glassware, paintings, textiles and sculpture will all be available. The doors will be open from 10:00am until 4:00pm on both days, and the function will take place in the Bridgeland Riverside Community Association. Many of the artists themselves will be in attendance, and the shoppers are encouraged to stop and chat with each of them as they browse.
