Calgary music fans who would like to add a little bit more opera to their life may want to make sure they grab a seat for a special experience that will be hosted by some of the city’s top vocal performers.
Calgary Opera has announced the dates for its winter and spring Opera Brunch schedule, and there are sessions planned for both January and April. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time, and both will feature different pieces.
The Calgary Petroleum Club will serve as the host venue for the brunches, which will run for two hours. Seating will be assigned, and the menu includes a selection of hot and cold brunch fare, as well as desserts, fruit and a selection of soft beverages. Tea and coffee will also be served. A cash bar service will be available. The performers that will be featured in January's program will feature the cast of The Elixir of Love, while April's will be from Das Rheingold.
The doors for the brunches will open at 11:00 am, and the food service will start at 11:30 am. The music program will kick off at 12:30 pm. A brochure printing company can prepare programs and other printed materials for an entertainment event like this one.
The Opera Brunch events will be bringing music to Calgary audiences on January 21st and April 7th. Tickets are available on the Calgary Opera website.
