An activity that will help Calgary families in need is on the hunt for volunteers, and its coordinators have explained that it may be a great fit for those who enjoy organizing.
Made by Momma Resource Centre has been the recipient of some generous donations, and these contributions from the community need to be cleaned, sorted and organized. These will be distributed to local families that are experiencing hardship, and as many hands make light work, all help will be appreciated.
The volunteers will be working under the direction of a team leader, who will let them know which items need to be sorted and made ready for storage. They will also help to keep track of the various items, noting which ones are running low. The helpers may also be called upon to perform other tasks as needed, and more details about this can be found on the event listing.
Offering community members an opportunity to support their neighbours gives a not-for-profit organization a way to create new stakeholders. Giving these supporters T-Shirts, Mugs and other Corporate Gifts that have been printed with its Logo Design provides a way to thank them for their hard work.
This chance for the public to get involved in sorting donations will be held on April 27th. Made by Momma Resource Centre can be found at 66 21 Street NW.
