Calgary event to put reptiles in spotlight

Reptile and amphibian lovers in Calgary will soon have a reason to smile, thanks to an upcoming expo.

The Calgary Reptile Expo has had to be rescheduled due to COVID-19, but it is set to make its return late this spring. It will feature everything from lizards to axolotls, and supplies, food and other care products will also be showcased.

This two-day event will boast a large number of companies offering food, cages and tanks, as well as a full line of other supplies. The attendees can also meet with breeders, ask questions and purchase a scaly new pet. Local experts will be hosting an assortment of presentations, and anyone who purchased tickets for the expo’s original date will have them honoured for entry.

To help minimize the risk of COVID-19, prevention protocols will be put in place, and everyone is asked to wear a mask. The total number of people on site at any given time will be reduced to allow for social distancing, and hand sanitizer will be available.

Many organizations have chosen to use COVID screening Forms during functions like this, and these can be sourced from a company that prepares custom Letterheads and other Stationery.

The new dates for The Calgary Reptile Expo are May 29th and May 30th. It will now be held at 2221 Crowchild Trail Northwest.
