A local floral studio will soon offer Calgary residents an opportunity to learn how to craft a floral bouquet themselves.
Flower Aura by Natasha is a small business that calls the city home, and during an evening make-and-take event it has in the works, the attendees will be working with roses, succulents and other plant materials. They will all be encouraged to utilize their creativity while they craft, and it is intended for those with an intermediate level of knowledge and experience in floral arranging.
The facilitator for the Roses, Succulents & Rose - DIY Flower Arranging Workshop will both explain and demonstrate how roses can be combined with succulents and greenery to create a custom bouquet, and containers will also be supplied. While they work, the participants will be invited to sip on a glass of rosé. The activity is scheduled to take place just in time for Valentine's Day, and it is for adults only.
Hosting a make-and-take event is one way a small business can build its customer base. A flyer printing company will be able to craft materials that keep the public informed about such events taking place locally.
The Roses, Succulents & Rose - DIY Flower Arranging Workshop is scheduled to be held on Saturday, February 11th. Flowers by Aura will be hosting the evening at 403 Forge Road Southeast.
