Calgary conference will offer insight into pain and its control

Every person experiences pain in their own unique way, and those who attend a Calgary symposium will walk away with a toolbox filled with techniques they can use to help their patients.

Physicians who are on the frontlines when it comes to patient care may want to make sure they do not miss out on this learning opportunity. It will explore a variety of multidisciplinary approaches to pain control, and much of the information will be actionable and can be used in their day-to-day patient care.

The keynote speaker for the day will be Dr. Steven Kamper. He will be sharing his expertise, and there will be an assortment of workshops that will expand upon this. Meals and light snacks are covered in the registration fee, and the doors will open at 7:30 am. The delegates are welcome to arrive before the opening remarks, which are scheduled for 8:30 am, and this will give them time to mingle and network.

Those who take part in a symposium like this often want to learn as much as they can. Proving each delegate with a conference package that is filled with learning materials, promotional Pens and other items can help them to make as most from attending the event as they can.

This year’s Pain Awareness Education Day will be offered in the Red & White Club on November 6. The venue is located at 1833 Crowchild Trail.
