Corks will be popping all across Calgary this holiday season, and the attendees at a special workshop planned for the city will discover the range of options when it comes to sparkling wine.
Whether a glass of champagne from France or one sourced from closer to home, sparkling wines are a common part of many celebrations. The ticket holders for a tasting session that will be taking place at Market Wines - University District will learn about these vintages and how they are made, and there will also be a nod paid to their stories.
Each of the attendees will be invited to sample three different wines, and the ticket price has been set at $10, plus taxes and fees. Free parking is on offer for the customers in the nearby parkade located under Save On Foods, and a request has been made that everyone arrive a few minutes early so they can get settled in before the class starts.
A wine workshop gives vino lovers a fun way to expand their palate. Custom Drinkware for such an occasion, such as tasting glasses, will be available at an area printing services company.
