An event seeking to capture the magic of the holiday season will soon bring the feel of an old-fashioned festive season to Calgary.
The plans for the Once Upon a Christmas event will bring back the feel of Yuletides gone by, and activities will range from a breakfast buffet to crafting, Christmas caroling and live performances. Tickets for the breakfast will be on sale separately from admission passes, and they may be purchased online.
The festivities will be held at Heritage Park, and the schedule will depend upon the day. Wagon rides, hot chocolate, baked treats, visits with Santa are just some of what will be on offer, and there will also be an opportunity for Christmas shopping, with the Once Upon a Christmas Market set to the goods of local small businesses. The historical exhibits at the site will be open and decorated for the season, and a kids-only store will be in operation as well.
Special events like this often call for decor that is just as festive, and a banner printing company will have a variety of options available to choose from.
The 2021 Once Upon A Christmas celebration will welcome one and all each weekend from December 4th to December 23rd. It will be on offer for all ages and will be open from 10am to 4pm.
