The city of Rockingham is preparing to welcome back a festival dedicated to cinema that has now run for three successful years.
Residents of Rockingham with a passion for cinematic experiences will be heartened to hear that the “Rock The Boat Film Festival” is returning to the suburb in September. The popular event will run into October and promises cinephiles in the city a chance to once again enjoy on-screen storytelling with no limits. Short films will be shown throughout the festival from filmmakers at every stage of their creative journey and from a wide range of backgrounds.
Cinemas, theatres and film festival organisers often order attractive advertisements from poster printing services to highlight titles being screened to the public and boost ticket sales.
The upcoming festival has five different categories that cover both documentary projects and short films. The festival judges will select finalists from across multiple regions with 12 awards and coveted prizes issued to winners. Each year, the community-oriented event is completely free for all to enter a project for consideration.
The opening night of the Rock the Boat Film Festival will take place in Rockingham on Thursday, September 11 and there will be a special awards night on Saturday, October 18. The festival’s films will be screened at Ace Cinemas which is situated at 1 Syren Street in Rockingham.
