Rockingham cinema to feature fashion film

A cinematic sequel to a story about the world of high fashion will be shown at a movie theatre in Rockingham next month.

Cinephiles hungry for another helping of Haute couture can catch “The Devil Wears Prada 2” on the big screen. The 2026 comedy drama brings back the iconic characters of the first film played by an all-star cast led by award-winning actress Meryl Streep.

Traditionally, cinemas and theatres often rely on expert poster printing services to supply high-quality one-sheets in various sizes to suit different display points, like their exteriors and by snack kiosks.

Joining Streep’s Editor in Chief Miranda Priestly at the fictional fashion magazine “Runway” are Anne Hathaway as former assistant turned feature editor Andy Sachs, Stanley Tucci in the role of Nigel Kipling and Emily Blunt as luxury brand owner Emma Charlton. New faces joining the franchise include Kenneth Branagh and Justin Theroux.

There will be nine screenings on the day to ensure fans of the first film can see the sequel, running at 10 am, 11 am,12.30 pm, 1.40 pm, 3 pm, 4.20 pm, 5.30 pm, 7 pm and 8 pm.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 will now be at United Cinemas Rockingham on Wednesday, May 6. The venue is sited at 14 Leghorn Street in Rockingham and tickets are now on sale.
