Locals in Rockingham and surrounding suburbs are being invited to attend a performance event coming to the area in March.
The event will be organised by the City of Rockingham Council and supported by Lotterywest.
Performance in the Park will feature a family-friendly show, including puppetry, movement, light and storytelling. Attendees can enjoy The Whale, a moving sculpture visualising the mystery of the ocean, while String Symphony offers eventgoers the chance to participate in a community exercise as they work together to bring life to a glowing giant. The Hive features a combination of interactive play and creativity, with a focus on pollination and bees.
This event is part of the region’s Summer Series, an annual lineup of family-friendly, free events for all to enjoy.
A photographer will be in attendance, capturing images for future promotions and marketing for the City of Rockingham. Attendees not wanting to be photographed are asked to make the photographer or an officer aware.
