Creative buzz to arrive in Rockingham

Creativity is good for the soul, and inhabitants of Rockingham and around can join a conference with invention and experimentation at its heart, embodying the biggest unmissable creative event of the year.
The audience attending the expo will be able to indulge creative passions with like-minded people as they listen to educational seminars, share an audience with guests within the crafting community, and join in with over 50 different workshops ranging from pottery, floristry and singing, with every conceivable discipline in-between. There will be a space to lounge and kickback, and swap stories and ideas with friends and strangers. The creative day ends with a raucous colour party, where washable coloured powder paint is launched into the air to emulate the imaginative spirit.

All attending will agree with the author Mary Lou Cook’s words:
“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun.”

Often, local workshops will make use of business card printing, so that contact details can be easily displayed by each artist.

The Creative Gathering: Conference and Expo takes place on Friday 22nd September, 6pm until 10pm (VIP night), followed by Saturday 23rd September, 9am until 8pm (the main conference and expo), at the Gary Holland Community Centre. This can be found at 19 Kent Street, Rockingham, WA 6168, and tickets come in at $47, with additional prices for various workshops.
