Footscray is set to welcome an Australian rock and roll band.
Known informally to fans as “The Tatts”, rock band Rose Tattoo is dropping by Footscray as part of the group’s new 2021 tour called “We Can’t Be Beaten”. The Sydney-based rock and roll band formed in 1976 and is now headed up by Angry Anderson on vocals. Rose Tattoo combines hard rock with blues rock notes and will be ready to regale those attending with classic tracks like “Rock ‘n’ Roll Outlaw”, “Scarred for Life”, “Bad Boy for Love” and “We Can’t Be Beaten”.
Footscray’s Hotel Westwood, where Rose Tattoo will take the stage, has recently been renovated, creating an all-new band room to host live performances. Live music clubs and other venues can sometimes use flyer printing services to make leaflets advertising upcoming attractions to members of the public.
The group disbanded back in 1987, before reforming to support rock legends Guns N’ Roses on the band’s Australian tour in 1993, before the members went their separate ways. The year 1998 saw the band reform and release two studio albums before entering the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006.
Rose Tattoo will play live on Saturday, October 30 at Hotel Westwood on 28 Napier Street in Footscray, Victoria. Support for the event will come from special guests CHILD, and the concert has standing room only.
