The Footscray Town Hall will host Exploration Through Puppetry: A Workshop for LGBTIQA+ People with local puppeteer Opal next month.
This event is for members of the Queer community from all over the Footscray area who are over 18, and it gives people a safe and embracing place to explore their creative expression and to talk about their experiences in the Queer community – in addition to learning more about the art of puppetry.
The Exploration Through Puppetry workshop will involve games, the art of assembling puppets and small performances. Small business owners will also have the opportunity to promote their goods and services with others at the workshop. Participants in events like this can use professional business card printing for networking with other attendees in order to gain new customers for their services and goods.
The workshop will give Queer locals the opportunity to socialise and learn something new, while at the same time taking part in conversations about how local services can continue to support the LGBTIQA+ community. It is free to attend, and lunch will be provided.
Exploration Through Puppetry: A Workshop for LGBTIQA+ People is set to be held on Saturday, 4th September, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. It will take place at the Reception Room at Footscray Town Hall. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
