Jamaican festivities to continue at Footscray after party

A famous Australian music and food event has announced it will be holding an after party in Footscray following the event.

Reggae fans in Footscray are in for a treat this summer. Early December will see the Jamaican Music & Food Festival make a welcome return to Victoria at Seaworks Maritime Precinct, a non-profit venue in Williamstown.

Presented by partners Always Live, Stick Mareebo and Mountain Goat Beer, among others, the event will feature a true taste of the Caribbean and is headlined by artists like Jamaican DJ Anthony B. Festival organisers often reach out to expert printing services for a wide range of high-quality promotional materials.

While the major food and music festival is perhaps the biggest day on Australia’s dancehall and reggae calendar, Mashup Fridays in Footscray has been charged with running the two-day celebration’s official after party.

A huge line-up of both national and international DJs is booked for the party including Jamaica’s DJ Banna, the USA’s Double 00, Tasmania’s So Fire, and Melbourne’s own Nish Diaz and Amadeus.

The official Jamaican Music & Food Festival After Party will take place at the Kindred Bandroom on Saturday, 7 until the early hours of Sunday, 8 December. The venue is located at 3 Harris Street in Footscray and is just eight minutes from the festival location in Williamstown. Tickets for the party are priced at $22.49.
