An evening event featuring stand-up comedians is set to take place at a local wine bar in Footscray.
Those with a fondness for wine and comedy in Footscray won’t want to miss an upcoming occasion taking place in the suburb this Autumn. The month of May will see local Footscray venue, the Bud of Love Wine Store host a stand-up comedy show featuring local talent from in an around Melbourne.
Some of the comedians that have performed in the past at the recurring event have been finalists in Australia’s biggest and best-known open mic competition RAW, which takes place as part of Fringe World Festival each year.
The free comedy show starts at 7.30 pm and runs until 8.30 pm. During the show, discounted drinks are available including the house red and white and beers like Schooner and Hopnation. Venues like bars, restaurants and pubs serving alcoholic beverages often use professional Print shops to produce branded drinks Menus and signage to promote deals.
The bar can hold up to 20 people at a time, so limited seating is available for the upcoming show.
The Stand-up Comedy night will be held at the Bud of Love Wine Store on Wednesday, May 1. The intimate bar can be found at 251 Barkly Street in Footscray and admission is free to the event.
