A unisex basketball camp designed for children in Footscray is taking place in the suburb this winter.
Sporty kids aged between six and 12 in Footscray can participate in an event called “Melbourne United 2 Day Junior Basketball Camp” in July. The action-packed experience will let children participate in special skill session and play in basketball games. There will also be opportunities to take home goodies.
Event organisers often order branded Promotional Products they can pass on to attendees to raise the profile or local sponsors.
The inclusive camp is ideal for both girls and boys with skill levels ranging from intermediate to absolute beginner.
Children must wear running shoes and bring their own drink bottle. Both days of the camp will feature a fully supervised one-hour lunch break. Parents and guardians should pack kids a lunch, but no nut products are allowed.
Melbourne United 2 Day Junior Basketball Camp will be run at Victoria University Community Sports Stadium on Monday, July 1 and Tuesday, July 2. The stadium can be found at 417 Barkly Street in Footscray and the camp will be open between 10 am and 4 pm on both days.
All parents are asked to drop their children off in the morning and return to pick them up promptly when the camp closes for the day. Overnight stays are not an option.
