Residents of Footscray and surrounding areas are being invited to a celebration of Latin American culture at the 2022 VIDA Melbourne Latin Summer Festival.
Featuring all aspects of Latin culture, from food to music, dance, art and entertainment, the three-day event is one of the most anticipated events in the Melbourne social calendar.
A free, family-friendly event, the festival programme includes a specialised area for families, with face painting, craft exhibits, maraca-making workshops and magic shows. For the adults, licensed beer gardens will also be operating throughout the festival, and a range of live music performances are also scheduled. Free community events such as this can benefit from poster printing to help advertise event details to prospective attendees.
Dance fans will also have plenty to look forward to, with dance classes and a freestyle salsa dancing competition planned to allow people to show off their moves, and for those who want something a little less physical, there are also cooking demonstrations from leading celebrity Latin chefs.
The 2022 VIDA Melbourne Latin Summer Festival is planned to run from Friday 7th to Sunday, 9th January 2022 at Tom's Block in Kings Domain, across from the National Gallery of Victoria.
