Footscray feature to make December return

A popular local activity will be coming back to the suburb of Footscray in time for the summer and the festive season.

Footscray fans of cuisine and entertainment from far flung destinations will rejoice at the news that a seasonal fixture is making a welcome return this December. Organisers have announced that the last month of the year will herald the comeback of the ever-popular Footscray Night Market starting on the 1st of December.

The market will open each Friday for three weeks in a row inviting residents from Footscray and visitors alike to attend. A wide range of stalls will be set up at the event serving food and drink from a diverse range of cultures and entertainment will be designed to match different nations. Vendors selling goods at outdoor markets and festivals often enlist help from banner printing services to produce eye-catching signage which encourage patrons to visit.

The first market will celebrate Asian cuisine with a vast selection of spicy and sweet dishes to choose from, while the second will delve into the food and flavours of African and Latin countries. The last market for the season will focus on Christmas.

The Footscray Night Market will take place at the Railway Reserve on Friday, December 1, Friday, December 8 and Friday, December 15. The event location is 3 McNab Avenue in Footscray.
