Footscray connoisseurs treated to wine and cheese festival

Residents of Footscray and surrounding suburbs are being invited to tempt their tastebuds at this year’s 9th Wine and Cheese Fest.

Touted as Victoria’s premier wine and food festival, this year’s event will feature offerings and displays from over 20 boutique wineries and as many more cheese-makers and local small good producers.

Aiming to promote the work of local producers throughout Victoria and beyond, attendees will be able to sample some of the most delectable food and wine pairings on offer in Australia and have a chance to purchase some of their favourite goodies to take home. Businesses and food producers who frequent events and expos such as this can benefit from ensuring they have plenty of Business Cards on hand to hand out to potential clients and contacts.

To round out the day, festival organisers will not only be offering a number of masterclasses and free tastings, but they will also be running their famous grape stomping competition. A special VIP-only room is also available for those interested in tasting some exciting Museum type wines.

The 2022 Wine and Cheese Fest is scheduled for Saturday 26th February, with two sessions on offer in order to maximise venue capacity limits. All attendees will need to provide proof of their vaccination status at the door. More information and tickets are currently available online.
