A popular night market is making a welcome return to Footscray this December.
Fans of international cuisine and entertainment will rejoice at the Footscray Night Market’s timely return in time for the festive season. Once more, the evening occasion will be held at the elegant historic gardens of Footscray’s Railway Reserve over three different Fridays. Organisers and promoters of important outdoor events celebrating different cultures and countries often look to professional banner printing services to create eye-catching signage featuring national colours and emblems.
Each Friday of the upcoming Night Market season will offer those attending a chance to enjoy a different kind of cuisine from across the globe. All dishes and drinks served on the evening will also be perfectly accompanied by a complete line-up of carefully selected entertainment to showcase each culture being celebrated.
Last years’ events paired rich spices from Africa with artists fresh from Melbourne’s International Jazz festival and Asian dishes served up with Chinese Lion dances and Bollywood beats and Australian bush food at a special smoking ceremony.
This year’s programme will feature a “Curry and Spice Night” on December 2, a “Herb and Chilli Night” on December 9 and a “BBQ and Grill Night” on December 16.
The Night Market will be open from 6pm until 9pm each Friday at 3 McNab Avenue in Footscray.
