An afternoon packed with opportunities for business networking will be taking place in East Melbourne in the new year.
From mentors and mentees to managers and SME owners, the Business Networking Afternoon in February 2024 is inviting professional people from Footscray and other parts of Melbourne to connect.
Designed as a welcome to an ever-expanding commercial community, the two-hour event aims to foster future business relations and give attendees an opportunity to practice their pitches.
Company representatives stopping by networking events often reach out to business card printing services beforehand to stock up on branded calling cards they can give to new contacts.
The informal afternoon will feature networking exercises to help attendees get the most out of the event, but will also include tips and tricks to break the ice with potential new collaborators and colleagues.
The networking event is free to attend, and a licensed bar will be open, selling a wide range of drinks to complement the social aspect of the gathering. A lunch will take place before the networking begins, and all attending are invited to join the session leaders for a bite to eat and to get better acquainted.
The Business Networking Afternoon will be held on Friday the 9 of February at the Pullman Melbourne on the Park. The East Melbourne event will run from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, and the hotel is situated on Wellington Parade.
