An acclaimed US comedian renowned for his stand-up skills and cinema and TV performances is coming to Melbourne for two back-to-back shows.
Fans of comedy from Footscray and other Melbourne suburbs will soon get a chance to see a legendary comic Chris Rock as he takes to the stage at the Margaret Court Arena. Venues of all shapes and sizes, from coffee shops to international stadiums, often enlist professional poster printing services to create promotional displays when hosting comedy shows.
Rock’s much anticipated return to Oz is one leg on the comedian’s first international tour in about five years, during which time he has appeared in numerous films and television shows, like season three of the comedy series Fargo. Entitled the “Ego Death World Tour”, the stand-up show will include brand-new material and will see Rock play two nights in Melbourne.
Enjoying a successful career for over 30 years, Rock has excelled as a comedian, writer, producer, actor and director. He has won three Grammy Awards and four Emmy Awards and is recognised by the New York Times as a best-selling author. “Everybody Hates Chris”, his hit TV series, is rated as being among the best syndicated programmes in the world.
Chris Rock will perform live at the Margaret Court Arena, located at Olympic Blvd in Melbourne, on Wednesday, August 10 and Thursday, August 11.
