The City of Casey, which includes the suburbs of Cranbourne, Lyndhurst and Narre Warren, is gearing up for one of its major annual events by calling for stallholders.
Expressions of interest have been invited to operate stalls at the Cranbourne GP Run to be held in October.
Each year, the event hosts a wide range of stalls, including food and beverages, motorcycle and car displays, novelty creators, and general market outlets.
The Cranbourne GP Run attracts thousands of motorcyclists, who rendezvous in the suburb before banding together for a ride down to the 2014 National Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island.
Greeting them in Cranbourne are thousands of locals enjoying the fun of the fair, live entertainment, food stalls, and children’s activities.
Flyer printing is a common way to advise the area’s residents of all the activities and events scheduled to take place on the day.
One of the major highlights will be enlisting a guest celebrity to wave the starting flag for the huge number of motorcyclists to begin their 90km journey to Phillip Island, cheered on by the local crowd.
Mayor Cr Geoff Ablett encouraged both businesses and community organisations to take part in this year’s event. Those wishing to submit an application expressing interest in holding a stall must do so by 5pm on August 1st.
