Narre Warren welcomes childrens show

A musical production based on a timeless Australian book for children is headed for the stage of a Narre Warren performing arts venue.

Residents of Narre Warren can see the children’s classic “The Magic Pudding: Being The Adventures of Bunyip Bluegum and his friends Bill Barnacle and Sam Sawnoff”, adapted for the stage in a returning production from Victorian Opera.

This autumn, the suburb will see the beloved book by author Norman Lindsay come to life with music and colourful characters.

Those promoting live shows like plays, concerts and operas sometimes count on professional Print shops to supply a wide range of high-quality advertising materials like Booklets, Posters, Postcards and Flyers.

Simply titled “The Magic Pudding”, the show is carefully crafted with Elizabeth Hill-Cooper in the director’s chair and includes a chamber orchestra conducted by Phoebe Briggs, Head of Music at Victoria Opera.

Set in Australia, the1918 tale was both written and illustrated by Lindsay. Classed as a comic fantasy, the book has retained its popularity ever since and been transformed into several films and plays.

The Magic Pudding will now be performed at Bunjil Place on Saturday, May 30. The venue is based at 2 Patrick Northeast Drive in Narre Warren and the show starts at 2 pm and ends at 3 pm.

The production is designed for audience members of all ages to enjoy.
