An eco-friendly bus tour that takes attendees to see how waste is being dealt with around Narre Warren is operating in the suburb this year.
Green-minded residents of Narre Warren can learn how to reduce their household waste in spring. An upcoming event called the “Follow Your Waste Tour” will let participants ride a bus to various locations where waste is managed in the area and get expert guidance on recycling.
Environmentally friendly associations running instructive experiences sometimes order informative Booklets for the public on best practices from brochure printing services, made with recycled paper pulp.
The tour will take in several sites. These include Valoriza, a location where garden and food waste bin contents are taken, VEOLIA where rubbish bins go, Upparel, a centre for specifically recycling textiles, and the closed landfill on Stevenson’s Road to find out about waste aftercare management.
Those participating in the tour will also visit the Cleanaway Recycling Education Centre to learn what waste goes in each bin during a “Recycle Right” session.
The Follow Your Waste Tour will begin at Bunjil Place on Tuesday, October 27. The tour will get underway at 9 am and ends at 4.30 pm. Bunjil Place is based at 2 Patrick Northeast Drive in Narre Warren.
The popular experience is fully catered and is only suitable for those aged 16 or over.
