Highlighting sustainable living, the event is family-friendly and free to attend. It offers a host of activities ranging from workshops and children’s entertainment to market stalls that are eco-friendly.
Mayor Susan Serey said the Expo provided a great opportunity for community members to learn more about sustainability from the experts and she added:
“There’ll be various free talks throughout the day on topics such as composting, wildlife-friendly gardening, energy efficiency, and making your own beeswax wraps.
She urged attendees to come equipped with their own reusable Bags and cups to cut down on additional waste. Flyer printing is often undertaken to spread the word about major community events such as this.
There will be a number of free activities for children to enjoy and this will include badge-making, face painting, a bubble performer and animal encounters. Children will also have an opportunity to explore one of the city’s recycling trucks, use pedal-power on smoothie bikes to mix a drink, and collect wildlife cards.
Stalls featuring organic food, health products, upcycling, and sustainable baby suggestions will be available at the Expo, which will be held on November 17 at Bunjil Place Plaza in Narre Warren.Get a Free Quote for Bags
