Many vibrant and creative events are coming up in and around Geelong this month, one of which is Provenance Wines' Jazz night.
A dinner and show event, the evening will feature the sweet music of jazz legends played by local band Orlando Combo, with artists like Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra likely to be featured. Jazz lovers can enjoy this musical backdrop to the food and wine provided by Provenance Wines.
Orlando Combo formed as a band in 1996, as the founding members attended the Victorian College of the Arts together. They have continued to play concerts in and around Geelong, while also touring interstate and overseas. Their collective love for jazz music has allowed the band to continue performing for over 25 years.
Held at Provenance Wines in Fyansford just outside Geelong city, the event includes a three-course dinner and a glass of sparkling wine or beer on arrival. An event to celebrate jazz, it also allows the public a more intimate view of the Promotional Products by Provenance, and other wares from the winery will be available for purchase. Toilets and parking are located on site.
The event will start at 6:00 pm next Friday, August 19, with an expected finishing time of around 10:00 pm. Tickets are priced at $160.00 and an email address of events@provenancewines.com.au has been provided for those interested.
