Now Australia-based, Georgie Carroll has been performing her award-winning sold-out show Sista Flo 2.0 for three years all over Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Her new show, Infectious, draws on over 24 years of nursing practice, both in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) and across Australia, where she worked both in intensive care and in the emergency department. She mixes personal experience, healthcare quandaries and everyday chaos into sharp, relatable comedy, appealing to the lay person and those with a medical background alike.
Carroll has appeared at venues as large as the Sydney Opera House and on Australian television many times and has won a slew of awards, including winner of the Best Comedy Show at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
