A well-established hotel in Geelong will be welcoming a popular Australian hard rock band to its stage in mid-autumn.
Rock fans in Geelong can catch the band Baby Animals playing live soon. The band will perform a single-night show in the city as part of a national tour of their home country.
Founded in 1990 by original members Eddie Parise (bass guitar), Suze DeMarchi (singer), Dave Leslie (guitar) and Frank Celenza (drums), Baby Animals enjoyed early success. Their first single “Early Warning” earned them a number one in Australia and a slew of top 10 hits like "One Word", "Rush You" and "Painless".
Two years later, their debut and self-titled studio album achieved multi-platinum status, which was followed by “Shaved and Dangerous”, a gambit to crack the international music market. On the cusp of a major tour of the US, however, their label Imago Records folded.
Record companies often include their professional Logo Design on the albums produced by bands they have signed.
Contractual issues plagued the band, and DeMarchi needing surgery on her vocal codes led to a split. However, the band reformed in 2007 and started touring again a year later - to applause from fans.
Baby Animals will perform live in concert at Eureka Hotel Geelong on Saturday, April 4. The hotel is easy to find at 98 Little Malop Street in Geelong, and the gig will kick off at around 8 pm.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
