A popular park in Geelong is set to host an evening of community carol singing to celebrate the festive season.
Those seeking some festive cheer in Geelong this summer can participate in an event called “Carols by Candlelight” in December. Scheduled to take place a couple of days ahead of Christmas Day, the family-friendly event welcomes everyone who is part of the Greater Geelong community to attend.
Organisers of communal singing events like carol concerts sometimes look to professional Print shops for lyric sheets they can hand out to attendees, which are clearly printed and easy to read.
The upcoming concert will be held in Geelong’s Johnstone Park and will feature uplifting singing and dancing along with other festive fun. Onsite amenities will include a water station and toilets, while a selection of food trucks will provide attendees with an opportunity for snacks and drinks.
The event has been designed with accessibility in mind and is also pet friendly, providing animals are kept on a lead.
Carols by Candlelight is presented by local non-profit charitable organisation The Y Geelong. The weekend event will take place on Monday, December 23 at Johnstone Park.
