The biennial Australian International Airshow is set to return to the Avalon Airport near Geelong for its 2025 showcase. Held across seven days, the event is both a public spectacle and an international aviation conference.
The airshow gives the public the opportunity to get close and personal with a range of aircraft, from homebuilt to historical planes to the latest military jets. Attendees will be able to see, touch and, in some cases, enter the planes on display, speak with aviation professionals and enjoy the performances of the flying program.
Before the airport opens to the public, around 800 Australian and international aviation companies will gather to discuss, collaborate and showcase their products and services in the military and civil aviation and aerospace markets. Manufacturers, airlines, operators, regulators, suppliers, industry associations, training schools and universities come together to take advantage of the networking opportunities presented by the concentrated presence of important industry stakeholders.
Businesses often take advantage of industry expos to showcase their products and services, forging connections that last beyond the event.
