Elvis will definitely be back in the building when Geelong plays host to the 2023 International Elvis Festival at the end of August.
The festival will include performances by Bill Cherry and Jay Dupuis, past winners of the Gracelands Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists Contest, as well as talented vocalist Ted Torres. Local performer Jack Gatto will also perform during the festival, along with sensational Elvis band ‘The Tributes in Concert Band’.
Geelong Elvis fans will have the opportunity to see six different concerts during the festival – Jumpsuit Heaven, The Year was ’73, Elvis at the Movies to Madison Square Garden, Sun to Sundial, Elvis on Tour and Elvis Box Set. The organisers of the festival will most likely use poster printing services to advertise these different concerts in the lead-up to the weekend. Festivals will also be held in Sydney and Adelaide.
Elvis Presley hit the airwaves in the 1950’s and had a successful music career into the 1970’s before his death in 1977. Some of his greatest hits include “Hound Dog”, “Jailhouse Rock” and “Love Me Tender”.
The Geelong 2023 International Elvis Festival will be held across the weekend of August 25th to August 27th. All performances will be held at The Sphinx Hotel, 2 Thompson Road, North Geelong. Tickets range in price from $59 to $110, with discounted multi-show passes also available.
