Gourmet food on offer for Geelong residents

Residents of Geelong will be able to visit the Artisan and Gourmet Food Market again from the beginning of December.

The market showcases and supports food producers and artisans from around the local district. It is held inside the Parks Hall, and as such, can be heated or air-conditioned depending on the outside temperature – allowing comfortable browsing through the many displays.

The products that will be on offer are homemade and of the highest quality, with many of the products produced in small batches. Products to be featured are different to those on offer at the outdoor Portarlington market.

Alongside the food offerings, there will be other items for sale, such as photography works, jewellery, children’s Books, original paintings, handcrafted candleholders, honey and beeswax lotions and much more.

Stall and market holders will often use printing services, such as poster printing, to advertise upcoming markets and events. For monthly events, Posters may be left in permanent locations around the market area.

The market is held each month on the first Sunday, but it has been cancelled for the past few months due to the restrictions in place in Victoria. The next market will be held on Sunday, December 6. The doors will open at 9am and close at 2pm. For more information, see the Artisan and Gourmet Food Market Facebook page.
