Village Cinemas in Geelong will be hosting the 2024 Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour this autumn. The tour is designed to pay tribute to the world of mountain and adventure sports and showcases the efforts of runners, explorers, climbers, paddlers, skiers, and mountain bikers from all over the world through a series of exciting short films.
Cinema owners often rely on expert poster printing services to supply them with full-colour advertisements for the films they screen in different shapes and sizes to display both inside and outside.
The tour follows the world’s most prestigious and largest event of its kind, The Banff Mountain Festival. Each year in November, the weeklong festivities are held in Canada’s mountain town of Banff, where around 300 films are shown.
The presenter of the tour, World Expeditions, describes the event as:
“The original and the best mountain film festival.”
The presentation in Geelong will feature two and a half hours of footage packed with adrenaline-fuelled action sequences and cinematography shot in some extremely remote parts of the globe.
The 2024 Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will be at Village Cinemas on May 23 and tickets are priced between $24 and $33. The cinema can be found at 194 Ryrie Street in Geelong.
