Thousands of cycling enthusiasts will be coming together in Geelong at the end of January for the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, to be contested over hundreds of kilometres over one weekend.
First off the rank will be the Health Insurance company, GMHBA Family Ride on the first day. GMHBA is committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and this event is an opportunity for participants to ride with Australian Tour de France winner, Cadel Evans, on a well-regarded circuit.
The second day will see the People’s Ride, which will allow participants to ride either 65km or 111km along with Cadel Evans. Also competing on the same day will be over 70 of the best of local and international female riders participating in the Deakin University Elite Women’s Race, covering 113km.
