The Bellarine Railway, which is part of the City of Greater Geelong, will be bringing back the Blues Train Revival Concert Series this October.
The experience will start at Queenscliff Railway Station at 6:30pm. Attendees will have access to a bar from 6.30pm to 7.55pm, after which the train will begin to move. Dinner will be served from 7pm to 7.55pm, and it will be a buffet. The train will then depart from the railway station, and the musical performances will begin.
There will be four performances that run for 30 minutes each, and attendees will change carriages during the interval. At the halfway point, everyone will have a chance to get their photo taken in front of the steam engine. The train will return to Queenscliff station between 11.15pm to 11.30pm. The Blues Train started in 1994, and since then, it has entertained more than 300,000 people, with entertainers and artists from all over Australia, and several from America, Canada and Europe.
The event will start in October and run on a weekly basis every Saturday until the end of May next year. Tickets can be bought on the website for The Blues Train Show. Prices start at $150, and ticketholders have the opportunity to upgrade to silver or gold tickets by paying an additional $10 or $25.
