A multi-day festival designed specifically for children will run in Geelong this spring.
Geelong families will rejoice to hear that the Wonder Children’s Festival will make a welcome return this September. Following on from its success launching last year, the celebrated event will once again take place at the Geelong Arts Centre.
Popular community hubs putting on shows created for kids sometimes use trusted printing services to create informative notices listing suggested age suitability guidelines.
The two-week event has been designed to be bigger and better than its 2023 edition. Families and young people are invited to attend and round up term three before stepping into the school holidays properly with plenty of shows to choose from.
Imagine Live will launch the event with interactive and musical performances based on Author Alison Lester’s iconic children’s literature, followed by Monash University’s Little Blue Dot a children’s play developed by astrophysicists to explain gravity, black holes and light speed. Other productions will include Big Wonder Weekend designed for all ages to enjoy, Teeny Tiny Steevies (Featuring Byll, Beth and their band), I Wish... and The Gruffalo, based on Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’ award-winning picture book.
The Wonder Children’s Festival will start on September 13 and run until September 26 and Geelong Arts Centre can be found at 50 Little Malop Street in Geelong.
