Leura Park Estate and Essential Theatre, within the City of Greater Geelong, will be hosting an iconic play by Shakespeare, “Romeo and Juliet”, at the event Shakespeare in the Vines this February.
Shakespeare in the Vines is an annual event and 2021 will be the 19th year that it will be held. This year, attendees will get to watch a story of innocent love between two star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, as the sun sets in the Leura Park Estate Vineyard. Such community events can be promoted via poster printing to reach a wide target audience.
The play will be performed at Leura Park Estate, which is a vineyard established in 1995. The venue is conveniently located within a 15-minute drive from Geelong on the Bellarine Peninsula. Due to the vineyard’s picturesque location amongst the vines, it is often used for weddings.
Shakespeare in the Vines this year will be performed inside the Barrel Shed and winery enclave within Leura Park Estate to protect attendees from weather elements. Patrons will have a variety of food choices to choose from on the night as it will be catered for different tastes and cost options. Alcohol will also be available for purchase prior to and following the performance.
The event will run over two days, Friday February 12th and Saturday February 13th. Attendees can start coming into the event from 5pm with the performance beginning at 7pm. Tickets have to be bought online from the website for Geelong Arts Centre. The cost for the tickets starts at $50.
