The popular Royal Geelong Show will be held next month, bringing with it all the favourite exciting activities that patrons have grown to love over the years.
The Royal Geelong Show will feature many different competition categories, including homecraft, poultry, sheep, cattle, and horses. Woodchopping displays, woolcraft and vintage machinery collections will also be features of the show, along with rides and sideshow alley activities. Site holders will have the opportunity to showcase their products during the event and may use Logo Design and Business Cards to promote their industries. Fireworks displays will be held on Friday night and Saturday night.
The Royal Geelong Show originally formed out of the establishment of the Geelong and Western District Agricultural and Horticultural Society in 1855, with the first event being a ploughing match on a private property. Eventually in 1954, the Royal Geelong Show moved to its current location, where showgrounds were established and new pavilions were constructed.
