Geelong’s famous Piano Bar will host New Years’ Eve 2022 with performances from Piano Bar's local heroes Andy Pobjoy and Shandelle Cooke, as well as drag queens Jemima Handful and Rubi Taboo on December 31.
Shandelle Cooke and Andy Pobjoy are two of Australia’s most exciting jazz artists and resident musicians of the Piano Bar. Jemima Handful and Rubi Tattoo, also resident performers, will be bringing the humour and the party with their unique Forms of drag expression. Food and beverages will be available at the venue, The Pier, Geelong.
The Piano Bar is a Victorian institution and has four venues across the state. The Geelong Piano Bar has been hosting jazz, rock and drag nights from their venue in Brougham Street for many years. With a range of delicious beverage and food options, as well as being centrally located, it is a favourite of Geelong locals and touring acts.
The NYE event will happen on Saturday, December 31st, with entry to The Pier from 7.30pm. The venue, The Pier Geelong, is located at Cunningham Pier, 10 Western Foreshore Rd, Geelong, Victoria. This event is strictly 18+ and the dress code includes no thongs, caps or singlets. Bookings are required for this event and tickets are $89 per person on the early bird sale & $99 per person post-Christmas. Shows commence from 8pm and Canapés & Antipasto Grazing Platters are available from 7:30pm - 9:30pm.
