This coming April, Geelong Football Club will host the Gala Nurses’ Ball, a celebratory event and fundraising opportunity that occurs annually to raise funds and awareness the scholarships of postgraduate students in Oncology.
At this event, guests will have the honour of receiving canapes upon arrival, a three-course meal, beer, wine and soft drinks from the bar. Live entertainment for the evening will be provided by local Melbourne band The Tequila Brothers. There will also be mystery guests and a dancefloor available for all guests who enjoy live music. There will also be raffles and a silent auction, with winners of Corporate Gifts and prizes announced at the end of the festivities. Cash is recommended. All of the proceeds from the event will go toward the scholarship fund.
Recent years, including the COVID-19 pandemic, have made it clear to the community at large the huge contribution made by health professionals, especially nurses. This is a chance to give back and assist in fundraising efforts for the next generation of professionals.
Bookings for this event are essential, with tickets available starting at $160. The ball will begin at 6pm on Saturday, April 1. There is parking available on site.
