Geelong is an area known for its vibrant community and related events, particularly at Christmas time. A seasonal event, The Christmas Nature Play at the Geelong Botanic Gardens is an event that can be attended in two sessions on Saturday, December 3. There will be one session in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Involved in each session will be a Christmas themed nature play and different, Christmas activities for children, including making a Christmas tree ornament and experiencing an interactive story. There will be time to explore the beautiful and historic Botanic gardens setting before and after the event as well.
The Geelong Botanic Gardens are home to some of the country’s most beautiful and significant native plants and other species from around the world. They have educational and conversation projects running year round. For the Christmas Nature Play experience, all children must be accompanied by a parent and/or guardian and each ticket allows for one child and one parent and/or guardian only.
The event is perfect for a weekend with the family and will be held at the Geelong Botanic Gardens, Wadawurrung Country, 1-49 Garden Street, East Geelong VIC 3219. There is both parking and toilets available at the site. The event is free to enter, but bookings are essential and can be made on the website.
