Festival of Glass will bring their annual Glass Expo back to the Geelong area later this month. The popular event will unite glass artists and craftspeople from across Geelong and the Bellarine area to showcase their work and connect artists with the wider community.
Glass Expo attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists and browse the range of handmade glass jewellery, sculpture, trinkets and homewares on sale. The expo will also host a number of demonstrations and workshops, with artists showing off their skills in glass blowing, mosaic and stained-glass crafting, and jewellery making demonstrations. Attendees can also explore various workshops that cover methods such as copper foiling and microwave melting.
Several projects organised by the Festival of Glass artists will be on display around the venue and in the community garden, and artists of all skill levels will have the opportunity to restock their supplies with beading, glass and other supplies on sale.
