Cartoon crafts to keep children busy for school holidays in Braeside area

Bayside Makerspace will be running a variety of hands-on sessions to entertain crafty children in the Braeside area this July.

Organised by the Frankston Craft Club, little ones will have the opportunity to try out a variety of crafty activities while sharing their interests and making friends.

Offering a ‘choose your own adventure’ approach, the Cartoon Crafternoon session promises attendees the opportunity to create a number of crafts inspired by their favourite cartoon television, movie or video game characters. Children can explore their crafty side with the chance to make characters out of Hama beads, create bookmarks or keychains with Shrinky Dinks, turn trash into treasure and make jewellery out of old toys and figures. They can also choose from a selection of character models and mini figures to paint.

Brochure printing services are often used to advertise local children’s programs like this one. These Brochures typically include key event information, cost, location and times, and may be distributed to mailboxes and through other public spaces in the community.

Frankston Craft Club’s Cartoon Crafternoon will take place from 1 pm to 4 pm next Thursday, July 10. Other school holiday craft sessions from the Craft Club, including puppet making, needle felting, skateboard painting and papercrafts are scheduled for Tuesday, 8 and Wednesday, 9 July.
