A number of Braeside businesses are in the running for the top title at this year's Melbourne Business Awards for the South East region.
The area's overall business of the year will be announced at a special gala breakfast in December marking the end of another year of networking and the last in this year's series of guest speakers.
The Business of the Year finalists have been chosen from a range of nominations showcased at business breakfasts throughout the year and include a number of Braeside-based manufacturers. Among those vying for the title are Packaging manufacturer RollsPack, boat builder Composites Constructions, and innovative building products firm Casafico.
Each company has presented at a breakfast event and has also been visited by the judging panel in the lead up to December's finale. The event will also highlight companies that are working to promote and develop young employees and one worker will be named 'Young Achiever of the Year'.
While the event is focused on celebrating a successful year, it still presents a useful networking opportunity so anyone taking part might like to take some Business Cards in case they meet a new business partner or client to work with in 2016.
The breakfast will be held on December 4th at the Woodlands Golf Club and starts at 6.30am. Tickets can be purchased through the awards website.
