A workshop is set to help small business owners from Box Hill South and surrounding areas to understand the practicalities and importance of creating a social media strategy that suits the needs of their business.
Led by Victoria Obieglo, Account Director from Digital Picnic, the workshop will provide attendees with the tools necessary to use platforms like Facebook and Instagram to help build awareness of their brands and engage effectively with customers.
Victoria has built up her social media knowledge and skills in a diverse range of businesses, including global tech companies. She is passionate about the impacts social media can have on businesses, irrespective of their size, and is keen to share her knowledge so that business owners from Box Hill South, Nunawading and nearby areas can improve their skills.
In the three-hour session she will focus on this year’s trends, understanding algorithms, best practices, reporting, content planning and platform-specific roles.
A light morning tea at the event will provide an ideal opportunity for attendees to network and share their experiences with other business owners.
Business card printing is helpful when networking at events like this.
This event was organised by Whitehorse City Council’s Investment and Economic Development Unit.
