BMX event to race to Box Hill South

A local skate park in Box Hill South has been selected to host a non-profit organisation’s annual gathering of BMX bike riders.

BMX owners in Box Hill South can attend this event, which is called the “2026 Conor Jam”. Run by a mental health not-for-profit organisation called the Victorian Brotherhood (VBH), the assembly invites riders of all ages in the suburb to dust of their bike and bring their best tricks along with them.

On the day, there will be prizes to win and a selection of VBH merchandise on offer. Registered charities and non-profits often order a selection of branded Promotional Products to give away at the events they hold to boost awareness for the causes they champion.

The community conscious event in Box Hill South encourages attendees to bring their family with them for the day dedicated to bike riding. Open to all skill levels, riders can roll around with their friends or show off their fanciest backflips.

A barbeque will run at the gathering and special trophies will be awarded for two categories, “Best Junior Rider” and “Best Adult Rider”.

The 2026 Conor Jam will now be at Box Hill Skate Park on Sunday, May 17. The event will begin at 10 am and the skate park is situated at the corner of Middleborough Road and Canterbury Road in Box Hill South.
