As part of a regional celebration, a sale of pre-owned Books is taking place at a key civic building near Box Hill South.
Bibliophiles in the area will get an opportunity to browse and buy from a wide variety of titles this year. The Box Hill Historical Society is hosting its yearly collectibles and second-hand book sale this spring, and organisers have received a significant stock of donated books for the week-long initiative.
Publishers and authors often make lasting professional connections with trusted printing services they can count on for high quality Copies of the titles they release.
The annual book sale is included in the 2026 edition of the Whitehorse Heritage Festival and the wider Whitehorse Heritage Week, a community event hosted by the Melbourne city council celebrating the traditions, history and culture of the region.
So far, the Box Hill Historical Society has received 35 cartons of books on a diverse range of subjects, and further donations have been promised. As such, organisers anticipate the sale will be sizeable and likely match its 2025 event. As well as books, there will also be a selection of bric-a-brac available to purchase.
The sale will now run in the lower hall of Box Hill Town Hall from Sunday, September 12 to Sunday, September 20. The civic centre is sited at 1022 Whitehorse Road in Box Hill.Get a Free Quote for Copies Get a Free Quote for Books
